The ADCOM Systems Yabhon United 40, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is a medium altitude, long endurance (MALE) unmanned air vehicle (UAV) featuring ultra-long flight endurance of up to 120 hours. The outstanding tandem double-wing glider is the key to its ultra-long endurance. The United 40 is suitable for near real-time combat assessment; battle damage assessment (BDA); intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR); special operations utilizing the Namrod air-to-surface missile; support of humanitarian aid; border security; and communications relay missions. The aircraft can be outfitted with two ADFLIR pods and four under-wing pods with a payload of 100kg each. Besides, the United 40 can be equipped with a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and terrain avoidance sensor. The hybrid propulsion system drives a single three-blade propeller located at the tail's and allowing a cruise speed from 75 to 220 kilometers per hour. The propulsion system main engine is rated at 115-hp and the electric motor at 80-hp. Each United 40 aircraft can be loaded with four Namrod missiles under its rear wings.
