Description

The Zmeevik is a hypersonic cruise missile being developed to take out US Navy aircraft carriers from distances of up to 4,000 kilometers. The new missile is similar to the DF-21 and DF-26 anti-ship missiles developed by China and might feature a ballistic trajectory at least during the launch phase. The new Zmeevik missile complex is intended to be deployed within coastal defense units and might feature the ability to strike land targets. The existence of the new missile being developed by the Tactical Missiles Corporation KTRV was made public in July 2022.
