Description

The Sadeq 1 is a surveillance drone capable of flying at supersonic speed at altitudes of up to 25,000-ft (+8,000 meters). It is equipped with a high resolution camera to take pictures and send them back in real-time to ground control stations or other platforms. This system was developed by Iran under its domestic weapons program started in 1992 as a response to the United States arms embargo. Iran unveiled the Sadeq 1 in September 2014.
