Description

The MMSR (Mobilna małogabarytowa stacja radiolokacyjna, Mobile small size radar) is a 3D monopulse, multibeam surveillance radar designed for short-range air target detection and indication within anti-aircraft defense systems. Operating in the F-band (3.2–3.4 GHz), it features a relatively high average transmitter power of 400 W, providing a 40 km instrumented range and enhanced interference immunity. The radar has a 3.3° beamwidth, 100 m range accuracy, and 0.5° angular accuracy, with an antenna rotation speed of 60 rpm. Developed in 2007, the MMSR's antenna can be hydraulically elevated to 3.5 m and is typically mounted on an IVECO 4012 WM 4×4 wheeled chassis, though it is adaptable to other suitable platforms.
