Description
The Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV) is a new class of multi-purpose frigate intended to meet the requirements of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RoSN). The Republic of Singapore Ministry of Defense selected ST Engineering to build six MRCV vessels in March 2023. The lead ship will be delivered in 2028. The 137-meter long frigate is expected to be outfitted with the Sea Fire radar and the Aster and VL Mica surface-to-air missiles.
