Description
The UH-60A Blackhawk helicopter was deployed by the US Army in 1979 replacing the proven UH-1 Huey. The UH-60s were employed during the Gulf War in 1991 and many other conflicts during the 1990s. It was employed successfully against the Taliban regime in Afghanistan in 2001 and recently during operation Iraqi Freedom.
