MRRMV
MRRMV
The Mine Resistant Recovery and Maintenance Vehicle (MRRMV) is a further evolution of RG-33L 6x6 vehicle developed by BAE Systems. The MRRMV has been designed to speed and enhance the retrieval and repair of disabled MRAP vehicles, Medium Mine Protected Vehicles (MMPV) and other medium tactical vehicles in combat situations. The MRRMV was unveiled at AUSA Winter Symposium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in late February 2008. The MRRMV is a 40t class vehicle utilizing a 6x6 wheeled chassis and equipped with crane and recovery winch. All in, it is capable of up-righting, winching and towing all 30t class wheeled or tracked armored vehicle such as MRAP, Bradley and Stryker. Only the Abrams tank and the M88 recovery vehicle are not serviceable by the MRRMV. Its armor allows to keep up the pace with other combat wheeled vehicles providing battlefield maintenance, recovery and repair. A single MRRMV vehicle has enough room to carry up to two recovered crew and combat vehicle spares.
