Description
The PGZ-09, also known as Type 07, Type 09 or ZBD97 anti-aircraft (AA) artillery system, uses the PLZ-05 self-propelled howitzer chassis to provide air defense for Chinese armored formations against combat helicopters and strike aircraft flying at low altitude. The PGZ-09 uses two 35mm cannons mounted on turret which also features a radar-based fire control system.
