Description

The KMGU, Universalized Container for Small-Size Load, is a cluster munitions dispenser developed and introduced by the former Soviet Union in the 1970s. The aluminum-made KMGU features eight cylindrical sections with their own pneumatically opened door. The KMGU dispenser can be fitted with a variety of munitions, typically mines, intended to engage personnel and armored vehicles. The KMGU-2 is advanced version introduced by the Russian Air Force in the 2000s.
