Avtobaza-M

The Avtobaza-M is an advanced ground-based electronic support measures (ESM) / Electronic Intelligent (ELINT) system integrated onto an 8x8 Kamaz truck system. The ELINT system has been designed to detect, identify and locate pulsed and continuous signals from airborne and seaborne radars, IFF and TACAN signals to determine the radar type and track its actual position. The information gathered by the Avtobaza-M system is supplied to air defense systems and command and control (C2) posts. Operating in passive mode guarantees high survivability of the Avtobaza-M system. The ESM/ELINT payload provides a 360-degree coverage in azimuth and 30-degree in elevation while operating in 0.2 to 18 GHz frequencies with a detection range of up to 400 kilometers while tracking up to 150 objects simultaneously.
