Description

The T-15A Armata Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) is intended as the replacement for the Russian Army's BMP-3 tracked armored vehicles. Its heavyweight armor may provide unprecedented protection for its crew for a Russian armored personnel carrier. The T-15A may be fitted with the AU-220M 57mm automatic cannon turret to provide overwhelming fire support once the troops roll off the armored vehicle. The T-15 was first spotted during the rehearsal of the Victory Day parade outside Moscow on March 28, 2015.
