Description
The Myanmar Navy’s Yan Nyein Aung class of stealth anti-submarine fast attack craft developed by Thanlyin Naval Dockyard. The weapon system consists of a 57mm anti-aircraft gun, two 25mm guns, two triple torpedo launchers and two RBU-1200 anti-submarine rocket systems. The propulsion system consists of three waterjets allowing for a top speed of 35 knots. These vessels are also intended to conduct mine laying operations. The Myanmar Navy plans call for the procurement of ten vessels by 2030.
