Description
The Mercedes-Benz Zetros represents a new generation of all-wheel-drive conventional-type truck available in 4x4 and 6x6 chassis for use by military customers. The vehicle's three-man cab can be armored for enhanced survivability against ballistic impacts and mines during operations in combat zones or peacekeeping missions. It can be airlifted inside the cargo compartment of fixed-wing tactical transport aircraft such as the C-130 Hercules and C-160 Transall.
