Description

The MYS-M1E (Cyrillic: МЫС-М1Э, "Cape") is a naval X-band mobile coastal surveillance radar, representing the first modernized export version. Manufactured by «Granit-Electron», it is designed for the detection, tracking, coordinate measurement, and friend-or-foe identification of surface ships and high-speed small targets in littoral areas, up to an altitude of 6,500 feet. With an instrumented range of 128 nautical miles (237 km), it offers an accuracy of 14 meters or 1% and 0.13 degrees, utilizing a 0.8-degree beamwidth and a 6 rpm antenna rotation. This system is electrically identical to the stationary MR-10M1E radar, which features its antenna and pedestal mounted on a high steel lattice mast.
