Rockot

The Rockot is a three-stage light space launch vehicle based on the RS-18/SS-19 Stiletto intercontinental ballistic missile. This launch vehicle stored in a sealed canister lifts off from launch pads operational at Baikonur and Plesetsk Cosmodromes. The launch canister features filler ports for refueling. The Rockot launch vehicle comprises two rocket stages and the Breeze-KM upper stage as the third stage. The payload and the nose fairing are installed in the third stage. Breeze-KM features a re-startable liquid propellant rocket engine (up to five times) which provides support for multiple satellite injection into different orbits. The liquid propellant consists of high-boiling components of hypergolic propellant with unsymmetrical dimethyl hydrazine as fuel and nitrogen tetroxide as oxidizer. The Strela launch vehicle features inertial autonomous control system and can put a payload of 1,000 kg into a circular orbit at an altitude of 1,500 km, 1,500 kg into a circular orbit of 600 km, and 1,850 kg into a circular orbit of 200 km.
