Description
The KM-SAM Block III is a further evolution of the KM-SAM interceptor with greater range (up to 110 kilometers) and maybe greater ceiling. The new variant is expected to support the Cheongung-3 air defense system. The missile is expected to engage a wide range of targets such as breathing targets, ballistic missiles and hypersonic weapons. The new missile is expected to enter service by 2034.
