The Takeoff & Landing Control Module (Модуль управления взлётом и посадкой | МУВП) handles automatic launch and recovery of the Orion (Иноходец | Inokhodets) MALE UAV. Built on a standard 20-foot KK-6 container chassis with 2 operator positions. FUNCTIONS Automatic takeoff and landing control Near-real-time flight control in the airfield zone Manual override capability preserved Autonomous radar-based landing (GPS-denied environments) OPERATION Crew: 2 operators In the vast majority of cases, operator intervention is NOT required during takeoff/landing. The system includes an autonomous radar-based coordinate determination system enabling automatic takeoff and landing without satellite navigation — the UAV can land even when GPS/GLONASS signals are jammed.
