PARS III 6x6 Turkish Wheeled Armored Combat Vehicle
PARS III 6x6

The PARS III 6x6 Turkish Wheeled Armored Combat Vehicle has been meticulously designed with a primary focus on mobility, protection, payload capacity, and potential for future enhancements. This vehicle incorporates state-of-the-art armored vehicle technologies to align with the operational requirements of contemporary military forces. With a combat weight of 25,000 kg, the PARS III 6x6 is powered by a robust diesel engine. Its powerpack consists of a water-cooled diesel engine coupled with a fully automatic transmission, enabling a maximum road speed of up to 100 km/h. The vehicle demonstrates impressive maneuverability, capable of negotiating a 60% vertical incline and a 30% side slope, while also being able to climb obstacles up to 0.7 meters high and traverse trenches measuring 1.75 meters wide. The innovative design of the PARS III 6x6 ensures optimal weight distribution across its axles, facilitating comfortable movement on various terrains, including loose and soft surfaces. This configuration enhances the vehicle's handling at high speeds and minimizes braking distances. The 6x6 driving capabilities allow for the locking of all axles as necessary, while a central tire inflation system permits adjustments to tire pressure based on the terrain conditions. The front-mounted driver’s section accommodates two personnel and provides an expansive horizontal field of view exceeding 180°, significantly augmenting driving safety and comfort. Enhanced situational awareness is afforded to both the driver and the commander through the implementation of large glass periscopes, front and rear maneuver cameras, as well as thermal imaging technology. To optimize crew comfort, features such as door covers, personnel seating, rifle holders, and interior lighting have been thoughtfully integrated. The PARS III 6x6 can accommodate up to nine personnel and boasts an operational range exceeding 800 km. The fuel tanks are designed with advanced protective measures against explosion and puncture, with an auxiliary under-armor fuel tank available for emergency scenarios. The modular design of the vehicle's hull and armor package enables customization of protection levels against both ballistic and mine threats, tailored to the specific requirements of clients. The geometric configuration of the hull, the underbelly structure, and the specially engineered mine-resistant seats are all designed to safeguard personnel against substantial mine threats. This vehicle excels relative to its competitors by providing ballistic and mine protection comparable to that of Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles, while retaining the combat effectiveness and mobility attributes characteristic of modern armored vehicles. An integrated air conditioning system maintains an internal temperature of +25 °C, even under extreme desert conditions. The modular interconnection of vehicle subsystems to its mine-resistant hull ensures straightforward maintenance and replacement processes. The ease of maintenance, particularly with regard to moving parts and power transmission systems, positions the PARS III 6x6 as a superior option among its counterparts. Furthermore, the powerpack architecture can be disassembled and reassembled in under 60 minutes, granting users the capability to replace the engine in the field, thereby ensuring maximized operational readiness in combat scenarios.
