Description
The IRIDE is a small satellite, Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation equipped with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) to provide Earth Observation services. The first batch of seven satellites was ordered in March 2023, including an Optical Observation satellite, and the second batch of six additional satellites was ordered in October 2024. The IRIDE constellation, produced by Thales Alenia Space, is expected to be operational by 2026.
