Description
The 9M28F is a 122mm unguided High Explosive (HE) fragmentation rocket projectile. The 21 kg fragmentation warhead features 1,000 pre-fragmented (5.5 grams) and 2,440 semi-ready (3 grams) fragments. It has been optimized to engage manpower, sheltered and in the open, unarmored materiel and APCs in concentration areas, artillery and mortar batteries, command posts and other targets. The rocket projectile has a maximum range of 15,000 meters operating at temperatures between -50-degree to +50-degree Celsius. The 9M28F rocket projectile was developed and produced by Splav for the Grad multiple launch rocket system.
