Description

The Russian Army Tigr-M SpN is a 4x4 tactical vehicle optimized for operations in mountainous terrain carrying out reconnaissance and patrol missions. Besides, these light armored vehicles can provide protection to convoys or support to military units. The Tiger-M SpN features a new diesel engine, new armored hood, air filter installation, up to nine passenger seats and roof-mounted large square hatch. The vehicle also features a central tyre inflation system (CTIS), automatic fire suppression system, a preheater and a self-recovery winch. The SpN vehicle can be armed with 7.62mm and 12.7mm machine guns as well as a 30mm Plamya automatic grenade launcher. The first Russian Army mountain brigade in the Central Military District was equipped with more than 30 Tigr-M SpN in August 2015.
