Description

The Piranha HMC Artillery Gun Module (AGM) is equipped with a 155mm 52-caliber unmanned turret from KNDS. The system has been designed to perform as a high mobility self-propelled howitzer capable of hitting targets at a distance of 54 kilometers. The Piranha HMC AGM was unveiled in June 2024. In November 2024, Switzerland selected the new artillery system as the replacement for the M109 howitzer.
