Description

The MAR (Mobile Search Radar) is an X-band battlefield radar designed for short-range 3D search and track, primarily for mobile air defense weapon systems and point defense of critical assets. Operating with an antenna rotation speed between 10 and 60 revolutions per minute and an instrumented range of 70 km, it can accurately track multiple targets, providing classification and identification data for each. Its Active Phased Array Antenna enables electronic scanning in elevation, while a Digital Beamforming architecture ensures wide close-in elevation coverage and high angular resolution. The system is specifically engineered for integration into tracked vehicles, serving as a primary vehicle-mounted search radar for low-altitude air defense command, control, and missile systems.
