Description
The SOM-A low observable cruise missile has a range in excess of 100 nautical miles equipped with a blast fragmentation warhead. The guidance system is based upon a combination of inertial navigation system (INS), global positioning system (GPS) and terrain reference navigation (TRN). The TuAF has deployed the SOM-A cruise missile on its F-4E and F-16C/D Block 40 jets.
