Tisa Turkish 4x4 Armored Vehicle
Tisa

The Tisa Turkish 4x4 Armored Vehicle is specifically designed to transport defense personnel (up to 4 individuals, including 2 crew members), conduct low-risk tactical missions, and quickly deploy mobile units. The vehicle features a roof that can be fitted with a rotating mount for a machine gun along with a protective shield. One of the key advantages of the TISA is its lightweight and compact design, which provides a high level of stealth for crew operations. It is built on the Toyota LC 79 chassis, offering excellent dynamic performance, enhanced off-road capability, and high maneuverability in challenging conditions. The TISA is also designed to cover long distances at a consistently high average speed. The current model has successfully passed ballistic resistance tests, confirming its compliance with NATO AEP-55 STANAG 4569 Level 1 standards for ballistic, fragmentation, and mine protection. The layout of the TISA effectively separates the crew and troop compartment from the engine, transmission, and fuel tanks, enhancing crew safety in combat situations. The crew and personnel are safely distanced from the engine and fuel compartments, while the workstations are specifically designed to protect lives in the event of an explosive device detonation. The armor is engineered to withstand the detonation of explosive devices with a TNT equivalent of up to 3 kg under the wheel and two DM-51 anti-personnel grenades placed under the center of the underbody. The vehicle utilizes the Toyota LC 79 chassis and components, along with parts and systems from other manufacturers.
