Description
The YLC-6 is a family of highly mobile S-band air defense surveillance radars designed for low-altitude, medium-range detection. Utilizing a full solid-state transmitter and an advanced Moving Target Detection (MTD) processor, the radar enhances survival capability and tactical performance. It has an instrumented range of 180 km, a range resolution of 150 m, a beamwidth of 1.5 degrees, and a peak power of 180 kW. The YLC-6 serves both military and civil applications, with the YLC-6 ATC variant being a fixed-site version used as a terminal surveillance radar at various airports.
