Description
Olekma-Class (Project 6404 Class) Russian Medium Seagoing Tanker has a traditional two-island superstructure arrangement (all later Russian naval fuel ships of merchant design have a structure-aft configuration). The OLEKHMA was modernized in 1978 and has an A-frame abaft the bridge to permit fueling of a ship alongside; all can refuel over the stern while underway.
