Description

The US Air Force EA-37B Compass Call is an electronic warfare (EW) attack aircraft developed on the basis of the Gulfstream G550 business jet as the replacement for the EC-130H Compass Call aircraft fleet. The new platform will feature advanced Compass Call capabilities to be integrated by BAE Systems and L-3 Communications. The EA-37B is expected to deliver higher combat effectiveness compared with the EC-130H. The US Air Force is expected to get the first two EA-37B aircraft in 2023 with a fleet of 10 aircraft expected to be fielded in the late 2020s.
