Description

The Russian Air Force Su-57M is a sixth-generation aircraft developed in the basis of the Su-57 fifth generation stealth fighter. The Su-57M will be powered by the third stage engine, Izdeliye 129, and the primary sensor will be a radio-photonic radar (ROFAR) capable of detecting and tracking any target, including stealth airplanes, at distances of more than 500 kilometers. The aircraft is expected to take to the skies by 2025 with the entry into service slated by 2027. The Su-57M is expected to be fully networked with unmanned aerial vehicles employing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to blend seamlessly with them.
