Description

The Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) is a new long range subsonic missile system intended to hit land targets located at distances greater than 1,000 kilometers. The weapon system has been developed by indigenous components and sub-systems. The new missile can be launched from both ground platforms and surface ships. India conducted the first test launch of the LRLACM on November 12, 2024. The new missile is expected to be fielded by 2030 with the Indian Navy procuring 200 missiles and the Indian Army several hundreds.
