Description
The Tanok is a 120mm laser-guided, cannon fired, anti-tank missile developed by Roketsan to meet the requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces. The Tanok was designed as an alternative to traditional armor penetrating tank rounds. It utilizes a semi-active laser seeker along with a high explosive anti-tank (HEAT) tandem warhead capable of taking out heavy armored tanks. It has been designed to impact armored targets on its top section where the armor thickness is weak. The tanok missile is able to hit targets at ranges of up to 6 kilometers.
