Description

The SkyHawk is a stealth, flying-wing unmanned air vehicle developed independently by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). The aircraft features high altitude, long endurance and high subsonic speed. Besides, the Sky Hawk is intended for operation from aircraft carriers utilizing an electromagnetic catapult for taking off. The single engine Sky Hawks is smaller than the CH-7 and its primary goal seems to be intelligence gathering performing Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) flights. It is equipped with seven cameras including infrared camera and multispectral sensor. The Sky Hawk first flew in February 2018 and was unveiled at the Zuhai China Airshow in November 2018.
