KAPGAN

The KAPGAN Turkish 6x6 Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) is an autonomous heavy-class vehicle designed to accompany troops on various missions, providing exceptional maneuverability in challenging environments. This operationally proven robotic combat vehicle integrates advanced technologies, including an Upgradable Perimeter Surveillance System and an integrated 30 mm gun with an effective range of 2 kilometers. This combination offers formidable firepower with armor-piercing capabilities against both land and air targets, ensuring high deterrence with minimal noise. The KAPGAN is versatile in function, excelling in several roles such as transporting military equipment, facilitating casualty transfers, conducting bomb disposal, and performing surveillance, reconnaissance, and war damage assessments. Its multi-role design enables effective fire support and tactical overwatch, making it a valuable asset in high-risk missions. Equipped with a tactical data link that extends up to 5 kilometers, along with GSM and satellite communication infrastructure, the KAPGAN’s capabilities are further enhanced by its 4-meter Upgradable Peripheral Surveillance System and advanced sensor systems. These features enable the UGV to effectively conduct day and night reconnaissance and surveillance missions. Additionally, the integrated wired or wireless drone serves as a communication relay when range limitations arise, while also providing multi-sensor intelligence and enhancing ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) efforts. The system's reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities can be improved through uninterrupted communication facilitated by the integrated drone modem. As the newest member of the HAVELSAN Digital Troop concept, the KAPGAN's swarm infrastructure allows for seamless joint operations with other autonomous systems, ensuring stealth, agility, and efficiency in complex military engagements.
