Anjian

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Anjian, also known as Dark Sword, is an unmanned, supersonic, combat air vehicle developed by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. It features both canard foreplanes and stealth airframe along with internal weapons bay. The Anjian is suspected to be a sixth generation aircraft featuring the ability to stay airborne for extended periods of time, extreme long-range, high supersonic speeds (even several times the speed of sound Mach 3+) and high maneuverability not compatible with a human pilot onboard. The new machine would be equipped with state-of-the-art air-to-air missiles. It is unknown if the unmanned aircraft is capable of carrying high energy lasers and other armament planned for sixth generation aircraft. The Anjian aircraft existence was revealed in mid 2018 and may enter service along with the J-20 by 2020. This new aircraft is expected to pose a considerable problem for the US Navy.
