Description
The Mi-8T (Hip C) is the basic civil and military transport version of the Hip. Civil versions lack armaments and can carry up to 32 passengers or 12 litter patients or cargo. The survivability features of the Mi-8 include crew cabin armor plating, explosive-resistant foam filling in the fuel tanks, a fire-fighting system and duplicated and standby hydraulic and power systems and main control circuits.
