Description

Hydra is a modular, active, multichannel, high-resolution imaging radar system with Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) capability. It is designed for real-time moving object detection and tracking. The system employs a direct deramping linear frequency modulated continuous waveform radar architecture and is available in single polarization (horizontal or vertical) or a fully polarimetric version. Hydra operates in the X, Ku, or K bands (IEEE designation, or I, J, or K bands by NATO designation) and has been utilized for maritime traffic surveillance, harbor monitoring, airport surface movement surveillance, low-flying aircraft surveillance, drone detection, and vehicular traffic monitoring.
