Description

The Ermine 6x6 Buggy Dutch Tactical Vehicle represents the largest model in the Ermine family of lightweight tactical vehicles (LTVs), which also comprises the 4x4 Quad and 4x4 Buggy. It is engineered for internal air transport (IAT) within CH-47 Chinook and CH-53 helicopters, with up to four Ermine vehicles accommodated in a single heavy transport helicopter. The vehicle serves as a mobile power station, utilizing a high-voltage battery and diesel generator to export power for recharging drones, operating command posts, or supplying electricity to other field equipment. This capability reduces the logistical burden of transporting separate generators. The chassis is designed to support interchangeable mission modules, with common configurations including troop transport (buggy), cargo and logistics, casualty evacuation (CASEVAC), and remote-controlled Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) operations.
