Description

The Eagle 6x6 is a high mobility, protected, lightweight six-wheel, all wheel drive tactical vehicle developed by General Dynamics European Land Systems to serve as a miliary transport vehicle for both off- and on-road conditions. The vehicle also features automatic Torsen differentials, automatic transmission and automatic tire pressure control system allowing fatigue-proof and secure driving under all conditions. The newest variant of the Eagle tactical vehicle family features a protected cabin for 2, 4 or 5 crew members with a different variety of load floors and mission modules. As a personnel carrier, it can transport up to 14 soldiers. In the cargo transport variant can carry a payload of 6,000 kg occupying a protected volume of 16 cubic meters. The Eagle was showcased for the first time at the Eurosatory 2012 exhibition in Paris, France.
