Description
The Typhoon-VDK is an advanced wheeled armored vehicle equipped with a roof-mounted remote weapon station with a 2A42 30mm automatic cannon, a 7.62mm PKT machine gun and a 30mm AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher. The Typhoon-VDK firepower makes it suitable to provide fire support to dismounted infantryman during operations in urban terrain. The vehicle can also serve as a security vehicle. The Typhoon-VDK armored was fielded by the Russian Armed Forces in 2021 and was deployed in Ukraine in support of the special military operation.
