Description
The ARLK “Ural” (Aerodrome Radiolocation Complex) is an S-band terminal area radar operating between 2,700 and 2,900 MHz, designed to provide air traffic control information within an airport's control zone. It features a two-channel antenna feed (high and low beam) to mitigate fixed clutter interference, achieving high antenna gain with a distinct lower edge to its pattern. The modular transmitter utilizes air-cooled amplifiers with bipolar transistors, allowing for the installation of 8, 12, or 16 modules to extend the maximum instrumented range of 100 km. The primary radar is complemented by an integrated secondary radar equipped with a monopulse antenna.
