Description

The Indian Air Force Tejas Mk2 is farfetched upgrade for the Tejas aircraft that may represent the introduction of a more powerful engine and stealth features. The Indian Air Force plans call for the procurement of 105 aircraft worth $15 billion after 2025. As of December 2017, the Tejas Mk2 program was put on hold in favor of the Mk1A aircraft. As of March 2018, the Indian Air Force wanted 201 Tejas Mk2 jets.
