Description
The PELE, Precision Exportable Launched Effect, is a small semi-autonomous unmanned air vehicle developed by General Atomics Aeronautics Systems Inc (GA-ASI). The propeller-driven PELE can be released by the MQ-9B SkyGuardian unmanned aircraft or ground platforms. The purpose of this aircraft is to conduct reconnaissance missions in challenging environments. It is equipped with an array of electro-optical (EO) sensors as well as other payloads depending on the mission profile. The PELE aircraft can stay airborne for seven hours traveling up to 500 nautical miles (900+ kilometers). GA-ASI unveiled the PELE in June 2025.
