Description
The Falaj 3 is a stealth, multi-purpose, missile boat class intended for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Navy operating in both the littoral and blue water environment. UAE will take delivery of four ships built by Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) with the design being carried out by ST Engineering and the Edge Group following a contract placed in November 2021. The 60-meter vessel will be capable of engaging airborne threats, surface ships and submarines. The lead ship of the class should be commissioned in 2024-2025.
