Description
The YLC-48 "Spider's Web" (蜘蛛网) is an L-band battlefield radar designed for mortar locating. It can detect and track enemy mortar positions within a 360-degree field of detection and an approximate range of 10 kilometers. Additionally, it is capable of detecting low-flying aircraft up to an instrumented range of 20 kilometers. The radar unit's design and designation are similar to the U.S. Army's AN/TPQ-48.
