Description
The Turkish Navy TF4500 is a new multi-purpose stealth frigate intended to enter service in the second half of the 2020s. The ship’s design has been optimized to hide the weapon systems minimizing radar cross section signature. These frigates are provided with flight deck and hangar allowing operations of a SeaHawk helicopter. Besides, the main purpose of TF4500 frigates will be to conduct area anti-air warfare (AAW) missions. These frigates may enter service with the Turkish Navy in the early 2030s.
