Super Simsek

The Super Simsek is a turbofan-powered tactical unmanned air vehicle (UAV) developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) to meet the requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces. The Super Simsek can perform electronic warfare (EW) missions or perform as false target to deceive hostile air defenses. The aircraft is also suitable to serve as training target. The Super Simsek can reach speeds of Mach 0.85 and altitudes of 35,000-fr (10,000 meters) and optionally can be equipped with a 35-kg warhead performing as strike weapon. The UAV can operate in swarm attacking multiple objectives at once using Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. The Super Simsek can be released by larger drones such as Anka-III, Aksungur and Anka. It can also be launched from the ground using a rocket booster.
