Description

The Haj Qasem is a ballistic missile with an estimated range of 1,400 kilometers developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran and unveiled in August 2020. The new Medium Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) was named after the Al Quds commander, Qasem Soleimani, assassinated by the United States of America in January 2020. It is a further evolution of the Zolfaghar tactical ballistic missile introduced within the Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces in 2016.
