Description

The 9M113, also known as AT-5 Spandrel, is a wire-guided, SACLOS anti-tank missile introduced by the Soviets in the late 1970s. It can be mounted on armored vehicles only such as BRDM-2 and is intended to defeat armored targets and fortifications at ranges of 4,000 meters. It was deemed as the Soviet counterpart to US TOW missile. The Soviet Army deployed 9M113 as a replacement for vehicle-mounted 3M11 and 9M14 anti-armor missiles.
