The TARES III-10TC1 Saudi 4x4 Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected (MRAP) is described as a "scaled-down 19TC1"—it shares the same monocoque V-hull construction and independent suspension system as the heavier flagship model, but in a lighter, more agile package. This design approach preserves the MRAP-style underbody blast protection of the V-hull while achieving a significantly lower gross vehicle mass, making the 10TC1 more suitable for rapid deployment, diverse terrain operations, and scenarios where ease of transport is a priority. The 10TC1 fills a specific niche as the lightest and most agile member of the Tares III family.
