Description

The 9M36, NATO refers to as the SA-14 Gremlin, is a man-portable surface-to-air missile (SAM) system developed in the former Soviet Union as a replacement for 9M32 SAM systems. The infrared seeker provided to this missile was more resistant to infrared countermeasures than those integrated into 9M32. The warhead weight was doubled and the solid propellant rocket motor was improved compared with its predecessor.
